I was overall please with the light fixture and how it fit over our 8' pool table. After some time adjusting the chain...the light installed relatively easily on a 9' ceiling. I would recommend this light to others.

First, none of the descriptions for billiard lights tell you anything about the lamps other than they are "glass" or "metal"....well, thanks for the detail. These lamps are covered with a sand-like texture which you cannot see in the picture, and as stated, nothing in the description, except that they are made of "glass"....great.
So I was less than thrilled that they have a beach finish to them....oh and by the way they are huge!
Second....the metal is described and basically appears to be a "bronze" finish on the website and this is what I was looking for....What it is in fact is "black", about as black as it gets....just a flat black powdercoat finish...very disappointed
also, the little wheat design doesn't really look like it does in the picture, and besides, its BLACK! so it loses much of its attractiveness...and it makes it "look" cheap..(made in China)
Of course I could send this all back, but it's quite large and I also made the mistake of buying the bulbs they recommend....
Item also had some dents...but i guess i'll just live with it....haven't hung it yet

Over liked the quality of the light but the instructions were a little on the weak side. If you are a handy do it yourself kind of person you wont have any issues installing the light; however, if you aren't that type of person you will have some challenges overcome during the installation process.

It did take a little while to get the light to be level but that is due to the chain and the unlevel ceiling.

I would recommend this light for others looking for a light over their pool table.

This fixture was the perfect size for our 8ft pool table and it was fairly easy to install (in spite of our 12 foot ceiling height). It took a little longer to get the length of the chains just right, it looks great.
